Description: This photograph is in a scrapbook of pictures put together by international student Onn Mann Liang while he was in the U.S. between 1922 and 1932. This picture was taken while Liang was working as a bridge designer for the Michigan State Highway Department, and the image shows three different styles of bridges that Liang observed in Chicago. The nearest bridge, which is raised, is the La Salle Street Bridge.
