Description: Coach Duffy Daugherty fixes a drum major's uniform. Text on the back of the photograph: "Richard R. Morsches, co-drum major of MSU marching band, stands uniform inspection by Spartan "Coach of the year" Duffy Daugherty. Both football squad & band will be in Pasadena Jan. 2 for the 1956 Rose Bowl game. Morsches, senior from Columbia City, Indiana, will be making his last appearance in front of the 125-piece Spartan band."
