Description: The 1950 Michigan State hockey team. Coach Harold Paulsen is standing on the far right. Hockey was Michigan State's newest sport in 1950, the year of its intercollegiate debut. The team played on the new rink in Demonstration Hall. The team lost all 14 games it played during the first season. Photo used in the 1950 Wolverine [yearbook].
