Description: This class rivalry poster from 1912 was created by the sophomores (Class of 1915) to insult and irritate the freshmen (Class of 1916) before their annual class rivalry contest. The class rivalry was a series of games in which the winning class could declare themselves superior. This poster features a skull and crossbones in green with bloody cutlasses beneath it. The date of the games is October 5, 1912.
