Description: The photograph shows a tug of war between the rival classes of 1903/04. The freshmen and sophomores would hold year long competitions as each class tried to outdo the other. These competitions were known as the class rivalry. The back reads, "First Scrap between [Class of] '03 & '04 - Property of Mark L. Ireland, 01e."
