Pomeroy, Associate Administrator of the National Law Enforcement Assistance Administration (U.S. Department of Justice), speaks at the 15th annual National Institute on Police Community Relations. The conference, sponsored by the MSU School of Police Administration and Public Safety, focuses on the theme "Coping with Local Problems Cooperatively." Pomeroy headed the Federal portion of the investigation into Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s assassination, and would later become chief security officer at the Woodstock music festival.
