Subject: Presidents

Description: President Wharton spoke with anti-Vietnam War demonstrators at Beaumont Tower. He granted four of their nine concessions, including asking the Board of Trustees if they would be willing to adopt an institutional position against the War, setting aside time on Friday two days later for discussions on the War and granting air time on WMSB to anti-war demonstrators to give their viewpoint. Despite these concessions, demonstrators still took to the streets to protest.
