Description: A State News report of vandalism which occurred following an anti-ROTC rally on May 1, 1970. The report states that some 200 students left the rally and began setting fire to curtains at Demonstration Hall and breaking the windows of several campus buildings. The damage was estimated to have cost the University forty thousand to fifty thousand dollars. It took about three hours for police officers to gain complete control of the situation.
