Description: James Stokley was appointed as Associate Professor in the Department of Journalism at MSU in 1956.He was an instructor in writing for the layman on technical subjects, both for science and journalism majors. He also did science shows on radio and TV. He earned his BS in Education in 1922 from the University of Pennsylvania and his MA in 1924. He retired from MSU in 1967. He died December 29, 1990 in La Jolla, CA.
