Description: A digitized copy of a U-matic videotape. John DiBiaggio's final commencement as President of Michigan State University. The video begins with a prayer led by Rev. Thomas Hughes. Dr. Percy Pierre presents Walter E. Massey (then director of the National Science Foundation) with an honorary Doctor of Science degree. Distinguished Alumni awards are presented, and the video ends abruptly with MSU Senior President Christian Kemnitz honoring the departure of President DiBiaggio. The master tape suffers from poor playback quality.
