Description: A digitized version of a VHS tape of the 1995 MSU Convocation, featuring guest speaker and U.S. President Bill Clinton. Present at the convocation were MSU President M. Peter McPherson; Russ Mawby, chairperson of MSU's Board of Trustees; John Engler, Governor of Michigan; and Jim Blanchard, U.S. Ambassador to Canada and former Michigan Governor. Ingrid Saunders Jones, a vice president with Coca-Cola Co. and MSU alumni, gives the first speech of the commencement. President Clinton is given an honorary Doctorate of Laws degree, and gives the next speech to the graduating class.
