Description: Physiological Botany notes of Lyster H. Dewey (class of 1888), taken during the Spring Term of 1886. According to the 1885-1886 MAC Annual Catalogue, "During two hours a day for four days in the week throughout the spring term, the Sophomores are occupied in the laboratory, each using a compound microscope, preparing his own slides, making notes, drawing, and employing reagents" (37).
