Description: This picture shows four women standing in front of a large quantity of canned goods canned by the "Girls' Canning Club." In the 1920's the Cooperative Extension began to fund programs for women as well. While at the beginning they were mainly domestic, they were still of great help. This exhibit was displayed at the Ionia Free Fair in 1925.
